Towels for Spoiling Yourself;
Dry the Dog With Something Else
July 22, 2004
by DEBORAH BALDWIN
John Matouk & Company has a new line
of towels, with cotton fibers that are woven without
twisting, to yield a silky, extra-absorbent terry. (Fans
of exfoliation may miss that invigorating scratchy feel.)
The towels are of long-staple Egyptian cotton woven
in Portugal in white, beige, butter yellow, periwinkle
blue and other colors. The line, called Milagro, is
$10 for a washcloth and $68 for a 40-by-70-inch bath
sheet.
