Egyptian cotton: fine,
lustrous, extra long staple cotton that was originally
grown in Egypt. This durable cotton is made of extra
long fibers, 1-1/4 to 2 inch staple. These staples can
be spun into extremely fine thread; thus, the resulting
fabric can be woven with more threads per square inch.
Egyptian cotton fabric has a distinct luster and silky
hand. The most durable cotton, it softens wash by wash.
